First of all – the hosts are still in the fight for the eighth position in the East and three points from this game will strongly increase their chances to accomplish their aim, considering the fact, that the last two games of Admiral Vladivostok during the regular season are against probably the team with the lowest potential in the Kontinental Hockey League this season.

Avangard Omsk, on the other hand, has only theoretical chances to finish the regular season on 1st position in Chernyshev Division, simply because it’s unlikely Sibir Novosibirks to fail to win three points from the last four rounds.In the same time, the next team in the standings is twenty points behind the team from Omsk.
