Swiss Sensation Reveals Arsenal Playmaker Influenced his Decision

Despite sitting in mid table in Serie A, Inter Milan were able to sign two quality players in the form of Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri.
German international and former Bayern star was left frustrated at Arsenal because of lack of playing time.
Poldi only made 7 league appearances for the Gunners this season and every single one of them as a substitute. On the other hand, he only started one Champions league game. Surely, the 29 year old had to leave for regular football and he did eventually move on loan.
Inter was a strange choice and Mancini did wonders to lure him. However, even bigger move was for Swiss sensation Shaqiri who is one of the top young players around.
Former Basel star has been mostly warming the bench since completing his move to German giants 2 years ago.
Shaqiri featured in 9 league games for Bayern Munich this season and could only start 3 under the management of Pep Guardiola.
The 23 year old opted to leave the Allianz Arena and his decision to move to Inter was influenced by Arsenal star Podolski.

Inter have now got two top players on their wings. Currently they have 25 points in 18 games and are 6 points behind Lazio who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.
