Man United Favorites to Sign Star with Club Ready for Approval

Manchester United have been linked with many midfielders since the arrival of Louis van Gaal as manager.
The Dutch manager has an obvious liking towards his compatriots and in summer, he wanted three Netherlands stars.
The one topping the list was Roma’s Kevin Strootman, but the former PSV star was injured and the move fell through. However, he is now fit again and Van Gaal is eager to secure his services.
Second, United were able to seal deal for versatile star Daley Blind. The former Ajax star was voted as the Dutch footballer of the year and made it into the World Cup 2014 team of the competition for his brilliant performances mainly as a left wing back.
Sadly, Blind has mainly been on the sidelines for Manchester United and hence the Devils need a proper defensive midfielder who can help the shaky defense.
Former Manchester City star and current AC Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong was another star United were linked with during the summer but eventually he stayed with the Serie A side.
De Jong was significant in Netherlands’ successful World Cup campaign under the management of Louis van Gaal.
The latest reports suggest that the might rossoneri are ready to grant approval for De Jong’s departure to Manchester United if the English giants come up with an offer.
De Jong will surely love the idea of re-uniting with Van Gaal and United are favorites to secure his signing but they must move officially.
