DONE DEAL – Arsenal Midfield Target Finally Signs

European Champions Real Madrid have arguably got the best squad in the world but still they are adding names for the future.
Having already secured the signing teenage sensation Norwegian international Martin Odegaard, the Los Blancos have sealed another signing in the form of Brazilian defensive midfielder Lucas Silva.
The 21 year old has officially completed move to the Spanish giants from Cruzeiro, Real Madrid confirmed and will be unveiled on Monday.
Cruzeiro coach Marcelo Oliveira has claimed that Real Madrid have signed a diamond:

“He [Lucas] is very happy as one of his dreams has come true. Ancelotti has got a real diamond,”

Real Madrid are surely an attractive prospect for everyone in the world and with that image they are easily signing players that many other clubs are interested in.
Top European clubs wanted Odegaard but Madrid snatched him.
This time around, Arsenal were eager to sign Lucas Silva but in the end have to settle with young Krystian Bielik as the defensive midfield signing as Silva opted Madrid as well.
Nevertheless, there are reports that Arsenal may sign Real Madrid midfielder Illaramendi and with the arrival of Lucas, there are more chances that the Spaniard will depart.
