Arsenal ripped Stoke City apart in the last premier league and will be go to Etihad full of confidence to face Manchester City.
However, the injury concerns seem to always haunt Arsenal football club over the years and halt their progress.
The North Londoners have had their key stars out for significant periods even in the first half of the season and the second does not look nice either.
The likes of Debuchy, Arteta, Ozil, Gnabry, Flamini, Wilshere have all been on the treatment table for long periods.
Manager Arsene Wenger has today provided injury update with some good and bad news for the fans.
Bad news to start with, French international Debuchy will be out for three months after suffering the injury in the last league game. Whereas Spanish international and captain Mikel Arteta had surgery and will be out for long term as well.
As far as striker Danny Welbeck is concerned, Wenger calimed that the England international is not ready yet and will need some more time to recover.
The good news for Arsenal supporters is that first choice left back Gibbs will return to training on Friday and should return to first team action soon as well.
Gunners have been weak in the defensive department and need their first choice defenders badly for consistent performances.
