Arsenal are in brilliant form and the confidence is sky high after beating the champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Gunners have mostly been inconsistent this season but are gradually picking up from.
Injuries have been one of the main reasons why the North Londoners have not been able to perform at the optimum level.
Players such as the likes of captain Arteta, star striker Giroud, first choice right back Debuchy and record signing Ozil have suffered long term injuries.
Even now Gunners have more than a few injury concerns but stars have now started to step up and prove fruitful for the gunners. Even Mesut Ozil is finding it hard to fit in after returning to first team squad.
As far as Arsenal’s current injuries are concerned, the likes of Arteta, Debuchy and Wilshere are out for long term. However, summer signing Danny Welbeck is set to return next month against Aston Villa on 1st February.
Arsene Wenger updated:
“Danny Welbeck is not ready yet, he is still feeling some pain, so we will have to be patient. I think he has two more weeks.”
The return of Welbeck will give Arsene Wenger more positive selection headache as far as strike-force is concerned.
For now, Olivier Giroud has been performing brilliantly upfront for the Gunners and Welbeck’s presence is not being missed but the England international gives Arsenal more depth and pace for an effective plan B.

Whilest Olivier offers a physical presence,Welbeck gives pace.In the away win against Man City, the addition of Welbeck ‘s pace d ve been another big source of concern for the citizens.Arsenal were playing on the counter and that d ve suited Welbeck perfectly well.U look at Sanchez,The Ox and Welbeck doing a fast counter initiated by the foot magician Carzola. It makes your opponents think twice before making a full force attack. If you look at the changes Arsene made they were all about breaking out fast,Gibbs and Rosicky.
Arsenal used Ox and Sanchez to tame Man City ‘s wing backs who r attack minded. They were always keeping an eye on these two
