Arsenal: Midfielder Deal Done, Defender to Arrive Soon

Arsenal FCArsenal needed to be busy in the transfer market this winter and fortunately Wenger has not disappointed fans as it seems.
Gunners mainly required a signing for defensive midfield and central defense. They have sealed one and are expected to complete the other soon as per latest reports.
The North Londoners have completed the signing of Croatian international Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw.
Young central defensive midfield player may as well be available for the game against Brighton in the FA Cup but it remains to be seen whether Wenger opts to give him the debut or not.
Nevertheless, the concerns regarding their defensive midfield have been diminished to large extent thanks to the brilliant form of Coquelin and players will have to step up to take his place in the starting line up.
On the other hand, according to Express, reports in Spain suggest that Arsenal’s defender signing is set to be completed soon after Spanish club Villareal accepted a bid from the premier league club for their Brazilian star Gabriel Paulisto.
The price mentioned in the provided link is £15 million and it remains to be seen whether the 24 year old will go straight into the starting XI or not.
After spending a decent sum, surely Wenger is not considering Paulisto as a back up defender.
Currently, Gunners have their first choice central defense partnership of French star Laurent Koscielny and German international Per Mertesacker.
