Manchester United Look to Seal Favorite £47m Superstar Signing

Manchester United were able to lure Champions League quality players despite not playing in the competition this season.
Yes, they did offer high wages but with the arrival of Van Gaal, future was expected to be bright and players were tempted to join.
Now that the Red Devils are even in more favorable position to qualify for next season’s Champions League and are in form as well, surely they will attract more world class stars in winter.
The only major concern is that completing top signings in the middle of a season is not easy by any means.
Nevertheless, defense is one department where Louis van Gaal will have strong focus on once the winter transfer window opens.
One of his favorite defenders is German international and Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels.
The World Cup winner is arguably one of the best central defenders in the world yet his side is struggling in the bottom half of the table in Bundesliga, fighting the relegation battle.
In such a scenario, top players are always expected to leave and Hummels, who opted to stay in summer might have other ideas.
The only positive thing for Dortmund this season is that they have qualified for the KO rounds of Champions League and will face Italian champions Juventus in the round of 16.
That is perhaps the only reason Hummels may think about leaving next summer but as per reports, Manchester United look to seal Hummels transfer by making big money move in January. Mats is rated around £47m by the German club.
