The appointment of Zdenek Zeman as a head coach of this team in June has no desired results, as the Red-Blues are currently on 18th position in the standings, with only two victories after fifteen rounds (2-6-7 20-26) and still without a single victory at “Stadio Sant’Elia” (0-3-4 6-14).

Marco Sau (striker / 5 goals) is still injured and will miss the upcoming match for the home team and there is no doubt, that his absence is a big blow for Cagliari Calcio.

The White-Blacks won only two points from the last two rounds (0-0 vs ACF Fiorentina / away ; 1-1 vs U.C. Sampdoria / home) and now the gap between Juventus F.C. and the second team in the standings (A.S. Roma) is only one point.

The visitors will be without Bonucci (defender / 1 goal), Caceres (defender), Barzagli (defender), Marrone (midfielder), Asamoah (midfielder) and Romulo (midfielder), but except Leonardo Bonucci the other five players missed most of the games of their team since the beginning of the new season, so their absence won’t be so big problem for Massimiliano Allegri.

Despite those three draws in the last three games (0-3-0 1-1), Juventus F.C. is a team with far bigger potential and in a better shape, compared with Cagliari Calcio.

An interesting fact is, that the White-Blacks won their previous four visits in Sardinia (4-0-0 12-3), as each of those four encounters was won with more than one goal difference.
