Manchester United to Meet £28m Buy-Out Fee & Sign Star

EPLAnother day, and another top quality central defender is linked with Manchester United for a potential winter move.
The question remains, will the Old Trafford club finally sign a class defender in the January window?
Latest name linked with a move to Red Devils is Atletico Madrid and Uruguayan superstar Diego Godin.
Godin was arguably one of the best central defenders in the world last season and his defensive displays alongside Miranda in Atletico setup proved pivotal in the title win.
Adding to that, he scored the decisive goal against Barcelona that earned Atletico Madrid La Liga crown.
The 28 year old star is still in top form and leads the defensive line for Diego Simeone.
According to reports, Manchester United are to meet £28m buy-out fee for the highly rated defender and sign him in the January transfer window.
However, will the player be willing to move to Old Trafford in the middle of the season? United are not even in Europe and are also struggling in the premier league.
On the other hand, Atletico are once again doing well in the Champions League and are in the La Liga title race as well.
Taking all that into consideration, there is no attraction in joining United unless ofcourse Red Devils pay huge wages one that tempt Godin to move.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months.

The attraction is you’re playing for a top club who will always be a top club vs. A club that is doing very well at the moment but most likely won’t last at the top. They are still a selling club. Look at the talent they have sold in the last 7 years. Villa, Torres, Silva, aguero, falcao, Costa. Luis. And that’s just off the top of my head. Obviously not a club that will be at the top every year. I do enjoy watching them play and makingla ligand interesting again though
