Many were surprised when Dutch international Wesley Sneijder left Italian giants to join Turkish side Galatasaray.
The playmaker was the best midfielder in Europe in 2010 and bigger clubs were interested. However, he opted to move to Gala.
One of his long term admirers are English giants Manchester United. The Red Devils have been chasing him since very long.
Alex Ferguson wanted him at Old Trafford but the deal never happened and once again he is linked with a move to United with Van Gaal at the helm.
Sneijder was one of they key attacking players for Louis van Gaal’s side that earned third place in the World Cup.
According to reports, Manchester United have been handed a major boost with Sneider willing to make move because of wage issues with Galatasaray.
Surely, the Red Devils can pay his wages but as per the provided link, Sneijder is keen to return to Italy.
“Galatasaray are having difficulties paying wages”
“If the situation continues they will most likely want to be free of Sneijder.”
“Sneijder is very keen on a return to Italy.”
With the presence of Louis van Gaal at United, the English side may as well take control if the Dutch manager seriously moves for his compatriot.
It remains to be seen whether that will happen as United have so many quality attacking players but very short of decent defenders.

MU dont need Sneijder, MU have better players. This guy is totally arrogant, when MU wanted him he opted to move elsewhere, why do we need players past their prime.
Too late, not needed now, If a player doesn’t want to come then no problem…
we don’t need players of no future achievements {sheneider} too old to play for utd
