• The Napoli boss will assess the fitness of Dries Mertens closer to kick off after the Belgian suffered a nasty head injury while on international duty.
• Benitez may be tempted to name a similar looking XI to the one which overcame Young Boys in the competition last time out.
• Sparta Prague have lost only 2 of their last 34 home competitive matches and will be confident of maintaing this impressive form at the Generali Arena. However, their only loss in the Europa League this season came against Napoli.
• The Serie A side currently top Group I and will be keen to hold on to their place at the summit. They will, however, be up against it when they travel to the Czech Republic to face a Sparta Prague side that has impressed at home in recent months.
• Napoli fell to a disappointing loss on the road last time out and will need to turn out a much improved performance if they are to secure a positive result, though that is easier said than done.
