Why Khedira has Snubbed Chelsea & Approved Arsenal

Arsenal may have lost to Chelsea yesterday at Stamford Bridge but gunners are set to beat the Blues in chase of Sami Khedira.
The German international has been linked with a move away from the European champions for quite some time and in winter he will exit Madrid.
Majority of the media outlets are reporting that the Kaiser will be joining Arsenal in January. The question remains, why has Khedira snubbed Chelsea and approved Arsenal.
Chelsea are a better side without doubt and also have Mourinho in charge who brought Sami to Real in the first place.
However, Chelsea already have a very strong defensive midfielder in the form of Nemanja Matic who has settled brilliantly in the starting XI since joining last winter.
Alongside Matic, plays the former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and the duo has formed the best midfield partnership in the league thus far. Khedira is without doubt an equally brilliant CDM as Matic but surely none of them is a bench warmer.
Arsenal on the other hand, do not have any quality holding mid player and are badly looking to sign one. Khedira absolutely fits the bill and will go straight in the starting lineup.
Also, Arsenal has that German connection with players like Mertesacker, Gnabry, Podolski and Khedira’s former Real Madrid pal Ozil at the club while Chelsea only have Andre Schurrle as the main German star.
The signing of Sami Khedira will be really huge boost for the Gunners.
