Talks Held – Arsenal to Complete Midfielder Signing

Arsenal’s start to the new season can be regarded as a total disaster but luckily not many teams have started brightly.
Still, they are out of the title race being 11 points behind league leaders Chelsea and with this form, there is absolutely no hope that they can catch the Blues.
Also, injuries have harmed them yet again and there seems to be no solution with Arsenal as they are handed this blow every single season.
Nevertheless, Gunners will look to reinforce squad in the winter transfer window and priority signing is a midfielder.
Gunners desperately need a world class defensive midfielder someone like Khedira but once again they are linked with someone opposite to that.
According to reports, Arsenal have held talks with the agent of Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic who is also a Liverpool target and hope to complete him as the first winter signing with a over 6 million pounds move.
Brozovic currently plays for Dinamo Zagreb as a versatile midfielder used as central, attacking as well as defensive midfielder.
However, the 21 year old is not a natural holding midfielder and for this sole reason, it does not make real sense why Gunners are so keen to secure his services.
Wilshere and Ramsey are quality options that can play in central as well as attacking midfield and another player like that is not really required.
