Manchester United secured the services of highly rated superstar striker Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco in the summer transfer window.
The Colombian international is one of the hottest strikers in the world with high fear factor and killer instinct.
His record speaks out loud about him being the best striker in Manchester United squad.
The South American star missed majority part of last season because of injury, including the World Cup.
However, he has not recovered and has scored for the country as well as the new club in the last game against Everton.
United are well aware of his qualities and want to make his loan move permanent as soon as possible but what is that Monaco want for their record signing to be offloaded.
According to reports, Monaco want Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney in exchange if they are to let Falcao join the Old Trafford club on a permanent move.
Monaco vice president is keen on the signing of Rooney after chasing him during the past windows and believes the move will happen one day as he claimed:
“One year ago, we were discussing one of the top players of the Premier League, a top English player,”
“But it was on the table. This opportunity finally did not happen, but I think one day that it will come, that it will happen.”
Surely Rooney is satisfied at United earning a mammoth salary but will that status change any soon, we shall see.
