Liverpool will be hoping to avoid another slump after the international break as it happened after the first one this season.
The merseysiders worked hard to beat West Brom in their last premier league game and will look to continue the winning run when they face QPR on Sunday.
Merseysiders have been haunted by injuries to key players last month and that reflected in their performances and results as well.
The good news is that majority of the vital players are back with the return of star striker Daniel Sturridge, Emre Can and Joe Allen.
Not to forget, Glen Johnson returned from his injury in the last game and featured for certain minutes against Albions.
Brendan Rodgers will look to hit the ground running and attack a weak QPR side from the word go, hence starting Sturridge would make complete sense alongside Mario Balotelli.
Liverpool have been troubled in defense but that is not a new story. What is more concerning that their prolific attack does not seem to work and perhaps the addition of Glen Johnson may as wel support the case in attack if not defense. Manquillo will then start from the bench.
Coutinho was impressive for Brazil during the international break but expect him to be on the bench with Lallana starting on the left hand side of the diamond. With Lovren and Sakho recovering, Toure and Skrtel are set to start in the central defense.
Here is Liverpool’s probable XI vs QPR.
