Liverpool: Major Boost, New Starting XI, Reus Mega Offer

Marco Reus DortmundLiverpool were handed another injury concern because of the international break as summer signing Dejan Lovren will now sit out.
The Croatian international is likely to be replaced by veteran Kolo Toure in the starting XI with Sakho already out injured as well.
Nevertheless, Lovren did not show any signs of quality or defensive leadership in the games he has played for the Reds and his absence will not really be missed.
On the other hand, Liverpool have been handed a major boost with the return of star striker Daniel Sturridge.
With Sturridge coming back, the starting XI may look new with diamond formation returning and certain fresh faces as well.

There is massive transfer news for the Liverpool supporters as well. German playmaker Marco Reus who was heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the summer will be offered a mammoth contract by the Reds in January to sign.
Reus is arguably one of the best playmakers around and Liverpool are set for a mega offer of £200,000 a week to join.
Not to forget, clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United are also after his signature. Can Reds secure him mid-season, only time will tell.

Liverpool should go for Marco Reus

Lovren needs to remember that Liverpool paid over the odds for his services. He needs to recapture some of the form that peaked Liverpool’s interest while he was at Southampton. He was seen as a leader for the backline. One to pull them together as one cohesive group. Where has this person gone? And as far as the injuries go while on international duty, I am so beyond fed up with players getting hurt and missing league games and I know I am not the only person who feels this way. Representing your country is one thing, but so is keeping players fit and healthy for the clubs that pay their wages. Just saying!
