Deal Close – Arsenal Lead to Sign Quality Forward

Cavani UruguayArsenal may have singed Danny Welbeck in the summer transfer window from Manchester United but they still look to reinforce their strike department.
Gunners are lagging behind their rivals once again even after spending hefty cash in the last transfer window and may have to splash cash again in January as well.
North Londoners have been keen to secure the services of highly rated PSG striker Edinson Cavani for long, but the Uruguayan international eventually stayed in summer hoping that things might change for him at the French club.
The former Napoli hit-man was frustrated last season because had to play out of his preferred central forward position on the wings in order to make way for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Even this season, things have not changed. Of the 12 games Cavani has played, he has featured 5 times on the left wing and once on the right and could only net 4 goals.
According to reports, Cavani has had enough and has told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants a premier league move.
As per the provided link, Arsenal have moved closer to signing Cavani and currently lead the race for his signature.
Liverpool and Chelsea have been interested in signing him as well but Gunners have been working on the deal for quite some time and are front runners.
If the move happens, that will probably be the end of starting roles for Giroud and Welbeck as Cavani is surely a class above them.

We could use Giroud as part of the deal,£40 mill and Giroux could be a possible start!

Defensive Midfielder and a central defender with abilities to rotate anywhere in the defense is more urgent…
