Manchester United somehow passed the tough test against league leaders Chelsea at Old Trafford by earning one point.
However, now they will face and even tougher test against local rivals Manchester City who ripped them apart in both games last season.
The Citizens have a much better squad than the Red Devils and will be fired up after latest defeat received at the hands of Hammers.
Louis van Gaal has started the season in the worst possible manner, at this stage, Moyes had one point more but the Dutch manager is lucky that the rivals for CL spots have also stuttered.
Nevertheless, a defeat at the hands of Manchester City will shatter Man United once again and that Van Gaal cannot afford.
Van Gaal has also been on the wrong end of injury concerns and many key stars have been out on the treatment table, mainly defensive.
Now, it is highly likely that the world class attacking duo of Falcao and captain Rooney will be out for the all important clash.
The only major injury boost for Manchester United is that three stars are returning from injury in the form of Valencia, Evans and McNair. The manager will hope that the trio can somehow provide the much needed boost to help beat Man City.
Evans is the senior most defender for United and may as well get straight into the starting XI. Januzaj has been lively at times but expect Valencia to take his place upon return.

Januzaj shuld start bcos the guy is coming up stronger following his display against chelsea n van gaal shuld also give Blackket a chance bcos the guy is also trying in that left back position all our injured players are wellcome back.
We can beat city if we play 4-2-3-1 formation we put fellaini and blind as our defensive mdflders and gve fellain the role to mark and take silva out of the game in that way city will not be a threat in the middlfld and we put herrera as our number 10 just behind Van persie so that he may stretch and open city’s defense with his killer passes and we pay Di maria and Januzaj on the wings but we must press them hard so that they can make mistakes and everytime we get the ball we start it at the back so that city players may get week and tired and we pass the ball fast in front of yaya toures feel so that he may get bored and tired and he is a slow player he wont run with Di maria or Januzaj as we all know for a fact if we take silva out of the game we r finished with city tell me if iam wrong guys
The combination of Valencia and Rafael at the Right Flank will help the Stickers esp. Van Persie to reposition them self well for the crosses. Of late we have seen VP on the wrong footing when he receives passes to score.
I hope lvg will see your formation@osego and follow same but my problem is about januzaj since city are playing a more physique type of game. don’t u think Valencia can do better with his strength on the right
wings?
I feel the back four we used against city is still okay, all we need is them being fit & composed…. As for Januzaj, I believe he can still come in & do damages, starting Valencia to me is better & at the moment, I prefer Rooney, Falcao or even Wilson to VP cause they charge the oppostion defence unlike VP that give them time to send accurate passes… My squad for that day is DeGea, Rafael, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Fellaini, Valencia, Herrera, DiMaria & Falcao/Rooney….
Against chelsea I meant!!!
