Arsenal have started the new campaign in a mediocre fashion not just in premier league but in all competitions.
Gunners are already out of Capital One Cup as Saints ousted them at the Emirates stadium in the first game.
They started the Champions League campaign in the worst possible manner as well losing 2-0 away from home against Dortmund after recovering to win vs Gala.
Last season, Arsenal had 16 points from 7 league games with only one defeat. This year, in games, they have again lost only one game but have already dropped so many points as they only have 10 at the moment.
Much of the average performances are down to new players not gelling in well and above all the injuries to key players.
However, better days lie ahead for the gunners with relatively easy fixtures coming up.
In the next 6 games, Arsenal will face the likes of Hull, Sunderland, Burnley and Swansea in the premier league before hosting Manchester United at the Emirates.
Wenger’s men should win the games and they might be in a decent position to charge for the title again. At the moment they are 9 points behind Chelsea.
In between the PL games, they have 2 games against Anderlecht, the weakest side in their Champions League group. Win those and they will be near qualification to Knockout rounds.
Another major boost for the Gunners is that few of their stars will be returning in that period, above all, the return of Theo Walcott this month is the most significant.
