Arsenal were one of the busiest English clubs in the summer transfer window as they secured many talented stars.
One of the brightest prospects included the capture of young Calum Chambers from Southampton.
The England international showed promise in the games he played for the Saints last season and Wenger was more than impressed to splash the cash and secure his services.
Chambers was brought m.ainly to be the understudy of his seniors like Debuchy, Koscielny and Mertesacker as he is capable of playing as both central defender and right full back.
However, injuries in Arsenal squad meant that the teenage star will be playing more often for the Gunners and he has gained a lot from that experience.
His performances thus far has shown that Chambers is surely more mature already and is ready to step up.
England manager Roy Hodgson took not and he made it into the England squad.
Now the Arsenal star is all set to achieve his dream of starting for the national side in the upcoming fixture against San Marino.
The 19 year old boy was mainly called to the international squad as Stones got injured but now it is highly likely that he will even start the game.
Glen Johnson has been the regular starter for England over the years at right back but he has never been consistent in defense.
Chambers must take full advantage of this opportunity and an impressive outing can make a strong case from him to become a regular.
