Arsenal were brilliant last weekend against Aston Villa as they earned only the second premier league win of the season.
However, last night, the gunners were beaten by an impressive Southampton side at the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger’s men will have to pick themselves up for all important derby clash against Tottenham next weekend. Spurs, after an impressive start to the new season are in poor form as well and will have to raise their game big time if they are to get anything against their arch rivals.
Arsenal will be without several key players for the contest but still have enough firepower to beat Spurs.
Theo Walcott who was expected to return at the end of September is still two weeks away from returning to action. German playmaker Gnabry is still nowhere near his return.
However, Sanchez for now is brilliant from and gunners have many top quality playmakers at their disposal.
Star striker Olivier Giroud recently had surgery on his tibia and will be out for few months while Sanogo is also sidelined with hamstring injury. Welbeck scored his first goal for the club at the weekend and will be all set to fire against Spurs.
Defense is where Arsenal have major concerns, first choice right back Debuchy is out for at least 3 months and currently young Chambers takes his place. On the other hand, second choice left back Nacho Monreal is also out with injury.
Wenger cannot afford further injury concerns mainly in defense or else Arsenal may find themselves in big trouble.

The Key Arsenal Players to Miss Tottenham Clash

Wenger certainly has enough players to beat Spurs. The problem is Wenger has never been a football tactician. There is a big difference between a good club manager and a good team manager. Wenger may be the former – but he has time and again shown that he is NOT the latter. He lacks footballing sense. That has been Arsenal’s problem – coming on 10 seasons now!! Wenger should be kicked upstairs into the boardroom and Arsenal should get a real football manager – like Murihino.
l am just sick and tired of Wenger’s tactics. For heaven sake can’t the players attempt short from distance? Must every player be beating before scoring a goal? l can see Welberg and Sanches attempting from distance which is good. Some times you see too many passes in the 18-box very Irritating. Instead of playing the ball wide and make some cut in which MAN city are fun of doing and is paying off for them. Gunners that l use to know before are always very quick but now they are too slow for my liking and they hold ball too much especially Wilshire. Wenger should change his tactics he should stop using Ramsey and Wilshire at the same time they are not coordinated he should give Campbell and Ospina play time to avoid match rusting. Lastly he use Ozil where he can get the best of him and that is the mid field. Gunners for life!
Hii proffessor wenger we need the points. three of them remember in the derby on saturday you have the firepower thanks.
