Louis Van Gaal did not Want Man United to Sign €34m Star?

Louis Van GaalManchester United’s priority transfers this summer should have been for the midfield and defense department.
However, the Red Devils did not focus on the foundation and instead reinforced their attack heavily.
The results are in front of us with United scoring goals for fun BUT conceding perhaps for more fun.
After letting go the likes of Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra, United mainly signed two defenders Luke Shaw from Southampton for a massive €34m and Marcos Rojo from Sporting. Blind should be considered a midfield signing although he was mainly utilized as left wing back by Van Gaal for Netherlands during the World Cup.
However, the question arises that whether Van Gaal even wanted Man United to sign Shaw or not. United have paid that heavy a sum for a defender but he has not even played a single competitive game as yet since getting back to fitness. Not even a substitute role.
United were in for Luke Shaw under Moyes and there were reports even when he was in charge during last season that Shaw will seal United switch. So was it too late for Van Gaal to call the deal off? Did he really not want him or not?
Shaw was in the Pl team of the year last season with the Saints and now finds himself in a complex scenario. Rojo mostly played CB for sporting but Sabella used him as left back for Argetnina during WC 2014 and Van Gaal has opted for Rojo to be his first choice left back while Blind plays as CDM for now.
If in January, United sign a versatile midfielder like Strootman then Herrera and Kevin will be likely to form the midfield partnership. Blind may still play DM depending on formation but will Luke Shaw be brought when Rojo gets injured? or Van Gaal will use his favorite LWB Blind and still bench Shaw.
For now the England international continues to rot the bench, United need help in defense, he might provide that but for now Van Gaal does not think so.

At what point will the vast majority of the English press deal in fact and not rumor. The only way that right thinking people will accept one of your stories is based on fact. Name your source(s) and then and only then will people believe your crap.
