The fixtures are not getting any easier for Arsenal and the club’s form is a big cause of concern at the moment.
After earning a point against City, they got hammered by Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Now, Gunners face another tough test at the weekend against high flying Aston Villa side.
Paul Lanbert’s men have won 3 of their 4 league games including the last against Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool side and are currently second in the table.
Moreover, Aston Villa have just conceded a single goal means that their defense is hard to break while Arsenal’s attack is not functioning at the optimum level as well.
On the other hand, Gunners have injury concerns that are hampering the performance as well. The latest player to get injured was Jack Wilshere against Dortmund.
However, fortunately the England international has returned to training after his ankle injury and is all set to face Villa away from home.
It will be fair to say that Arsene Wenger should start Jack from the bench and bring him on in the second half if needed. Ramsey can partner Arteta or Flamini in the central midfield in place of Wilshere.
Jack was brilliant against Manchester City last weekend and has suddenly found form. With Arsenal lacking serious quality depth in the midfield department, never know Wenger may opt to start him.
