Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is well aware of the fact that the pressure of winning the premier league again will be much higher next season.
Blues have not won the title since 2010 and Abramovich has splashed heavy cash to bring quality players but Chelsea have still failed.
Even their special one failed to deliver in his first season after returning to Stamford Bridge as Blues finished the campaign without winning any silverware.
Adding to that, Mourinho kept on reiterating last season that his side are only the underdogs but will be main contenders next season.
Having said that, Jose knows that serious questions will be asked if Chelsea fail to win the premier league next year.
Hence the Portuguese manager has opted to sign proven quality players instead of young stars who may take their time to settle.
Although the experienced signings are also going to take some time but for quick fixes, he has signed the right players.
Diego Costa and Cesc Farbegas are at the peak of their games while Filipe Luis is vastly experienced and was a key member of Atletico side that won the league last season.
Adding to that, Jose already has young talent at disposal in the form of Eden Hazard, Oscar, Salah etc and the side needed more experienced stars.
He has also loaned out majority of the young players like Piazon, Thorgan Hazard, Atsu and even sold Romelu Lukaku.
May be the Belgian international who has joined Everton lately is right about Mourinho not using that many young players at Chelsea but that is perhaps because he does not want to leave anything for chance.
