Manchester United have won all of their pre-season games under Louis van Gaal and the teams have shown massive signs of improvement.
The Red Devils defeated arch rivals Liverpool in the International Champions Cup final last night coming back from behind to win 3-1.
Now that their pre-season is reaching its climax, Louis van Gaal’s main focus should be on transfers as they need top players for key postions.
The Dutch manager did claim that he will tell the players about his judgement after the US tour and one can expect a few United stars to leave Old Trafford this month as well.
“I shall make judgements. After this tour I shall make judgements because I let all the players play and I know now more than before the tour”
On the other hand, fans can also expect new stars to arrive.
United need major reinforcements in central defense as the legendary duo of Vidic and Ferdinand has not been replaced yet. Players like Hummels and Vermaelen are linked with moves to Old Trafford.
Adding to that, Van Gaal also wants to improve the attacking depth of the United squad as in his 3-4-1-2 setup, there are not many experienced world class playmakers there.
Last but not the least, United want to add another midfielder alongside Ander Herrera to strengthen the department that was arguably the weakest link last season.
Whether or not United can lure Vidal in midfield, only time will tell.
