Tottenham Close in to Secure $25m Playmaker Signing

Spurs splashed heavy cash last summer to recruit top individuals to White Hart Lane but unfortunately the results were not that fruitful as per expectations.
For most part of last season, Andre Villas Boas and Tim Sherwood looked clueless and could not find the right fit.
Now that Pochettino is in charge, Tottenham fans hope the Argentine can turn things around next season as Spurs target the Champions League spot.
The ex Southampton manager already has a decent squad at his disposal but still wants his own set of new stars to build for the future.
One of those stars is PSV attacker Memphis Depay. The Dutch international is widely regarded as one of the best young talents around and Spurs are set to beat Manchester United to sign him this summer.
According to reports, Tottenham are close in to secure playmaker signing with $25m bid which will surely be a bargain buy like that of Eriksen last summer.
The versatile winger featured in 32 league games for the Eredivisie side last season, netted 12 goals and also provided 8 assists.
Adding to that, he had a successful World Cup for Netherlands under the management Louis van Gaal. Depay played 4 games, scored 2 goals and added an assist.
His preferred playing position is on the left wing but has also been utilized centrally. Not to forget Spurs already have record signing and Argentine star Lamela for left wing position as well.
The North Londoners must do all to seal the signing as soon as possible before the new premier league season starts.
