Liverpool On the Verge of Luring Duo, Must Sign Top Striker

Sturridge and Suarez SAS LiverpoolLiverpool have been the busiest premier league club this summer but still their transfer business is not done yet.
Last season, the merseysiders were brilliant upfront as they scored more than 100 league goals. However, their defense was one of the worst.
Manager Brendan Rodgers was well aware of the scenario and has signed Emre Can who can play as a strong DM and hired a leader for central defense in Dejan Lovren.
Moreover, Liverpool are on the verge of luring Spanish fullback duo of Alberto Moreno from Sevilla and Javier Manquillo from Atletico Madrid.
The signings will help is resolving the defensive issues of last season but Rodgers’ has another key dilemma i.e. reinforce strike department.
For now the statement that ‘Liverpool have replaced Suarez with Lambert’ just about sounds right and will not really help.
Liverpool will be playing more hectic season with Champions League around and going from Suarez & Sturridge to Sturridge & Lambert/Borini should be regarded as taking a step backward.
Sturridge missed 9 games because of injuries last season but then Suarez was there. However, if Daniel goes out missing at some point next season, Liverpool might find themselves in big trouble.
The failure of Remy capture was a major set-back for Reds. They did sign Origi but the young Belgian will play on loan with Lille next season.
Hence, Liverpool must sign a top striker to reinforce their strikeforce for the coming season as the current one is just not good enough as compared to Europe’s best.

The only problem with the defence was rodgers and his tinkering

Brendon must move for a top class striker, Falcao, Martinez or Reus. Can’t wait until January then panic buy!
