How Chelsea will Line up With Fabregas & Costa

Diego Costa Atletico MadridChelsea manager Jose Mourinho was let down by his strikers last season and the Portuguese boss’ frustration was evident.
Torres, Demba Ba and Eto’o were all past their best as Chelsea finished the season without any silverware.
Now that, Chelsea have agreed deal to sign Atletico Madrid hitman Diego Costa, no one will be more delighted than Mourinho. Moreover, Romelu Lukaku may also stay at the Bridge to further reinforce that department.
Adding to that, the London side has replaced legendary midfielder Frank Lampard by signing former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and his signature is a major coup for the Blues.
Both signings are without doubt top class and have largely improved Chelsea squad before the start of next season.
Costa is surely going to play as an out and out striker in Mourinho’s system and Chelsea will hope that the Spanish international can replicate his form of last season with them.
Fabregas is likely to partner Matic in the central midfield but he has the ability to play as an AM as well and can be utilized in place of Oscar in the formation provided below.
Here is how Chelsea will line up with Fabregas & Costa.
