The transfer saga surrounding Chilean international Arturo Vidal has taken many turns over the past few days.
Manchester United have been constantly linked with a move to sing him from Serie A champions Juventus and the deal is still on.
Vidal has lately come up and stated that he will decide his future after he returns from holiday i.e. he has left the door open for a move away from Bainconeri and the deal is still on contrary to certain reports.
“It’s difficult to speak of other teams when you are already at a top club. have won the Serie A title three times and I respect my team-mates.”
“I have heard about the interest shown by Real Madrid and (Manchester) United in me but there is someone (Vidal’s agent) who deals with this.”
The €40m rated midfielder was all set to join the Red Devils as per reports. However, the departure of Head Coach Antonio Conte has halted the deal for now.
Nevertheless, Manchester United still remain favorites to sign the versatile superstar as the interest shown by Real Madrid is bound to cool down.
The European champions already have Khedira, Modric, Alonso and Illaramendi in their midfield. Now, they have sealed the signing of another top quality midfield star in world cup winner Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich.
Hence, Los Blancos are now pursuing Monaco star James Rodriguez to bolster their attacking line.
With Carrick out injured and set to miss the start of the season, Manchester United must not waste any more time and splash the cash to lure Vidal.

I don’t think LVG will learn anything in USA that we don’t already know. So we need the likes of Vidal, Reus, Hummels and DeVrij ASAP. It’s time to dump some of the deadwood, who are only at OT to collect their inflated wage packets.
If Vidal does not want to come then United need to go after Schweinsteiger or Strootman or even William Carvalho if needed. It’s well clear that van Gaal means buisiness at Old Trafford by his body language. Those targets you mentioned are realistic targets but we need a back up plan, if not Hummels then Vlaar, if not Reus then Griezzman, De Vrij will probably come cause he’s turned down a move to lazio, if not Vidal go for his teammate, not Pogba, but Marchisio he’s the exact same quality as Vidal and costs less.
I think LVG intended sticking with Carrick and going for Strootman in the January window when clear of injury, but the injury to Carrick changes all that and he should go all out for Vidal !
