Manchester United have been looking to find the youngster that would replace legendary Paul Scholes. What the Devils did not know, they already had one in Pogba but never gave him the chance.
The French international has become one of the best central midfielders in the world with Italian side Juventus and top clubs are interested in luring him this summer.
United have splashed a huge sum to sign Ander Herrera so expect them to stay away from the Bainconeri star.
On the other hand, Chelsea were lately linked with a move for the young superstar as well but the Blues manager Jose Mourinho does not really need Paul Pogba.
Having already signed a quality central midfielder in the form of Cesc Fabregas, there is no dire need to spend heavy cash for another one. On the other hand, Cesc and Matic are likely to form a dream center midfield partnership next season.
The combination of Cesc and Pogba in midfield is not what Jose prefers as he always likes a strong holding player in the midfield and Nemanja Matic has been sensational since joining Chelsea last winter.
Adding to that, Cesc is versatile, can be used as an attacking midfielder playing behind the lone striker as well. In case Mourinho opts to play him as an AM at times, Chelsea have bright young prospect in Marco van Ginkel, signed last summer.
The Dutch star was mainly sidelined with injury and could only feature in 2 league games for the Blues last season. Expect him to get his chance this year. Not to forget, Ramires and Mikel are the other senior players for the midfield position as well.
