Every four years, the world has one time zone and that time is about to begin tomorrow when the World Cup kicks off.
Brazil and Croatia will collide in the opening fixture of the tournament in an intriguing Group A contest.
Their probable starting lineups can be viewed in the links provided below:
Here are the three battles that may decide the game between Brazil and Croatia.
Fred vs Lovren
Fred has been the most in form Brazilian forward and is likely to start as the lone striker. In 2013-2014, the Samba star has netted 10 goals in 13 national appearances and will be up against Croatia’s Dejan Lovren who had a successful with English side Southampton.
Ramires vs Modric
This is arguably be the most intriguing battle between the center midfielders. The Chelsea star is one of the consistent performers for Brazil but for Blues, last season he wasn’t up to his high standards. Modric on the other hand was the midfield maestro for Real Madrid last season and pivotal in helping the Los Blancos winning the double of Copa del Rey and Champions League.
Silva vs Jelavic
In the absence of Manfzukic, Jelavic is expected to start and he will be up against Brazilian captain David Luiz. No points for guessing who will likely be the winner of its battle. Can Jelavic somehow put in a world class show against the Brazilian defense, only time will tell.
