Ever since the departure of French International Paul Pogba from Manchester United to Juventus for a price tag of peanuts, the Red Devils have been crying for a top midfielder.
Few seasons with the Old Lady, and Pogba has become one of the most renowned and highly rated central midfielders in the world at a very young age.
Now, the English giants want him back at Old Trafford but will have to pay a hefty fee to the Italian champions for his services.
According to Guardian, Pogba is open to the idea of moving to Manchester United and Juventus will not mind losing him either if the Red Devils can splash a whooping €74m for the talented star.
United only broke their transfer record in January to sign Spanish international Juan Mata. The mentioned price tag will mean that they have to break it again by some margin if they are to bring back Pogba.
The question is, is it worth spending that heavy to sign one central midfielder?
The obvious answer is NO and in Manchester United’s case perhaps a BIG NO.
United need more than a single midfielder to solve the conundrum of last season and in €74m, they can surely by more than one quality player.
However, it all depends upon whether the player is willing to not play in CL as well. Not many players will be open to that idea.
