Liverpool Starting XI Formations with Emre Can

Having already secured the services of England international Rickie Lambert from Southampton, Liverpool have sealed another deal to lure Bayer Leverkusen star Emre Can.
The German international had been heavily linked with the merseysiders over the past month and Reds finally activated his release clause to secure him.
Rodgers is ready bring stars early on to gel his new players into the system well before the start of the new season.
Brendan loves versatile talent and Emre is exactly that kind of player. Last season the young star played in different attacking (LF,LM), central (CM,CDM) as well as defensive positions (LB, CB) for Leverkusen.
For Liverpool, he is likely to feature in the central midfield and defensive midfield. His work rate is second to none and the combination with Jordan Henderson alongside Gerrard can become a mouth watering prospect.
Liverpool have many attacking options and are likely to add another, hence Brendan can try different formations. However, in case Emre starts, here is how Liverpool should form their starting XI.

Here, in case one of Gerrard or Henderson is not fit or Brendan opts to rest one. Can may start alongside either in the central midfield. He will be more responsible for the deep lying playmaking, holding midfield role with Hendo and be responsible for a very similar role like Henderson’s alongside Gerrard.
