The Toni Kroos transfer saga has started all over again in the past few days with Manchester United and Real Madrid in frame.
No surprise that the German star is unhappy with his pay package at Bayern Munich and failure to agree the deal that he desires is not going to help.
Although Kroos did claim that he wanted to stay and complete his contract that has only one year left but as per the latest reports, the German champions may lose him this summer.
According to reports quoting Spanish source El Confidencial, Kroos is ready to leave Bayern Munich to sign for Manchester United or Real Madrid.
Previously, it was reported that new United boss Louis van Gaal personally contacted his former player to talk about the transfer.
On the other hand, European champions Real Madrid are looking to strengthen their midfield department with Kroos being versatile and capable of playing as central as well as attacking midfielder.
Red Devils, who are desperately in search of quality central midfield stars will find it extremely hard to compete with Real Madrid for Kroos’s signature.
If Real Madrid are anywhere serious about hiring the services of the German international, it will be wise decision by Manchester United to look elsewhere for obvious reasons.
United have a difficult but perhaps the most important summer ahead and they must make it count by luring top stars to bring back glory days as soon as possible.
