The international transfer window will open on 1st July, not that it is some kind of breaking news but something that Arsenal supporters must keep in mind to start making noise.
Gunners normally have that habit of wasting the entire transfer window chasing quality targets and then signing alternatives very very late in the window or at times they don’t bother signing.
Last summer, they were linked with the likes of Rooney, Higuain, Suarez and many other top stars. In the end signed Mesut Ozil on deadline day.
In winter, they chased Julian Draxler when they needed a striker badly. However, all they could lure was an injured Kim Kallstrom on loan. Lack of transfer activity was another main reason why Gunners failed in the second half of the season in PL.
Rival clubs look to lure their transfer targets early in the window to gel the squad well before the start of the season but Arsenal always have other things in mind.
Same thing is happening again and perhaps Arsenal supporters already know what’s coming after experiencing frustrating windows in the past. Here is just a list of stars the possible title rivals of Arsenal have already signed.

- Liverpool – Lambert & Can
- Chelsea – Fabregas & Costa (Near Completion)
- Manchester United – Herrera & Shaw
Arsenal boss is enjoying his vacations at the moment and not really concerned about any arrivals for now. May as well concentrate after the World Cup but even that would do as far as the supporters are concerned.
However, one can expect Arsenal to repeat all the fuss again and do their business late. Once again, they are linked with top stars, we shall see how the transfer window unfolds for the Gunners.
