'Unhappy One' Chelsea Manager Wants his Own Set of Stars

Chelsea's Possible Starting XI vs West Brom & PredictionFor the first time in his managerial career, Mourinho failed to finish the season in the top 2 places and for the first time as Chelsea manager he finished the season without a trophy.
Surely, a lot was expected from Jose Mourinho as the Blues had won Champions League and Europa League in the last two seasons but the Portuguese tactician did not prove fruitful as per his very high standards.
During his first tenure with Chelsea, and with Inter and Real Madrid, Mourinho mainly had that freedom to build squad, his own set of stars with the money available.
However, this was not the case when he returned to Stamford Bridge last summer. Even though he had quality stars at disposal, the “Happy One” was perhaps a very “Unhappy One”.
Hazard, Oscar and Mata arguably made the best attacking midfield in the country. Moreover, talented De Bruyne returned and Blues secured Schurrle early on in the transfer window to further reinforce attack.
What was left, a striker of course? Chelsea badly needed a quality proven striker but they signed veteran Samuel Eto’o.
Later, Mourinho did claim that Eto’o has been away from top level football for few years in Russia and will take time to settle. Then why sign him? and why on earth did he loan out an already proven PL striker Lukaku.
Moreover, with funds available to sign a top class striker in summer, Mourinho opted to splash the cash to bring Willian and van Ginkel. The Brazilian playmaker had a brilliant season but perhaps Mourinho trusted his strikers way too much.
Then again, he openly criticized the set of strikers for not performing well, stressing that he needs a new one & better quality.
Sold playmakers Mata and De Bruyne and again did not solve the main dilemma of strike-force with the funds. Instead, Salah and Matic joined but nevertheless, they are his stars.
Now, the situation is even more complex. Their best player Hazard openly criticized Mourinho and the manager returned the favor by criticizing as well as benching him. Oscar used to be his first choice last year, since the turn of the year, the Brazilian has normally warmed the bench. Last but not the least, David Luiz is another player he has never trusted to the fullest as a defender or a holding midfielder.
Hence, the above mentioned trio are now linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. Surprise, not really.
One thing is probably obvious i.e. apart from Strikers, Mourinho wants each and every player of his side to support in defense. You can’t, you’re out.
Blues are likely to secure a world class striker in Diego Costa and Mourinho will be delighted with that. However, it seems that the Chelsea manager wants a whole new set of his superstars bought this summer that may see some top players leave the Bridge as well.
It will be intriguing to see how Chelsea and Mourinho deal in the upcoming transfer window.

Lukaku: Missed penalty which costed us a trophy. Benched and had the bxlls to REQUEST transfer out of club. Jose was not initiator! Transfers at CFC are largely controlled and managed separately from Jose. Players were sold for us to meet the financial regulations. Unless we can sign a deal with Russian Tourism board soon!!
