With all the hype around media, Louis van Gaal looks set to become next Manchester United manager in the next week.
The Dutch coach will immediately look at the potential transfer targets and try to secure deals before the World Cup if possible.

According to reports, Man United are closing in on Roma’s midfielder Kevin Strootman as Van Gaal has held talks with his compatriot about the idea of playing for him at Old Trafford.
Strootman is a key member of Netherlands squad but will not be going to World Cup with van Gaal because of the cruciate ligament injury he suffered in March. However, the manager wants him to be part of his Man United revolution.
Roma signed the talented midfielder for 20 million Euros from PSV last summer but as per the provided link, United would have to shell out €39m to hire his services.
In 25 league appearances for the Serie A side, Strootman has netted 5 goals and also provided 5 assists as well.
The 24 year old Dutchman is highly talented and will largely improve Manchester United’s midfield creativity.
Players like Fabregas and Toni Kroos are also linked with a move to Old Trafford but it is clear that Van Gaal prefers his countryman over the duo.

Kroos or Reus preferably 1st. Both on top of their game and huge huge prospects. Break the bank to land Kroos. Hes worth every penny. Keep Kagawa and Valencia. Bring in Carvalho and Fabregas if we can get him cheap. Hes not worth 40 million plus. Would love to see Garay and Hummels at CB. If Cavani links are true then Rooney or RVP will have to go.
