Manchester United fans can now start thinking about life under the management of Louis van Gaal as the Dutch coach is close to signing for the club.
Van Gaal has certain transfer targets and one of them is Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus.
Red Devils have been looking to lure the talented German international in the past transfer windows but Reus has stayed put.
However, according to latest reports, the door is open for Manchester United to sign Reus after the player himself refused to commit to Dortmund.
Reus claimed:
“Every player only has one career and wants to get the best out of it.”
“You have to decide what’s best for you. We’ll see about that.”
As per the provided link, Marco Reus has a release clause of €35m in his contract and surely he is worth it.
The Kaiser has been the best player for Dortmund this season being a regular scorer of goals and provider of assists.
Barcelona are also interested in hiring the services of this German superstar but the presence of Louis van Gaal at Manchester United may as well help them lure him.
Whether or not Reus will join Man United in the summer, only time will tell.
