A decade ago, if someone would have said that Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal depends on one FA Cup final, the fans might have taken it as a joke.
However, on Saturday that is exactly going to be the case as the legendary manager looks to end club’s nightmare run of 9 long years without trophy.
Arsenal only recently defeated Hull City in their own backyard but the pressure is going to be really high when the two teams collide in the FA Cup final.
As far as Arsenal team news is concerned, Wenger has provided updated team news for the final.
Captain Vermaelen is still doubtful for the clash as manager claimed:
“We have some uncertainties over Vermaelen who was out at the last minute with stitches in his knee.”
Same doubts are there for England international Oxlade Chamberlain as well.
“I will only know if he has a chance to be in the squad or not.”
We’ll know more about their situation today.
Other than that, only Walcott is the long term injury concern, the rest of the players are all set for the final.
