Arsenal badly need a world class striker as Giroud is not the one they can rely on if premier league title is what they are targeting next season.
Since the departure of Robin van Persie to Man United, gunners have not been able to replace him but now is the time to act in the transfer market.
According to Telegraph, Arsenal are set to launch a mammoth £30m move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
The French striker has been widely criticized by the Real Madrid supporters this season for his below par performances and it is likely that he will leave Los Blancos with the Spanish giants looking for a top quality addition in their strikeforce.
One may think that French connection of Wenger and Champions League football should lure Benzema to Emirates.
However, according to Spanish source, Karim Benzema has his sights set on a move to Manchester United in the upcoming transfer window.
Not to forget, the Red Devils will not be taking part in any European competition next season after their horrific premier league campaign last term saw them drop from 1st to 7th. Then why would Karim want United?
Arsenal can’t even offer Sagna his desired contract to stay and perhaps their rigid pay structure can possibly cause a problem in Benzema deal.
Man United can surely pay him huge salary and that is the only way the Devils can convince top players to join without CL football.

I think he is precise and meticulous when he has an opportunity to strike… Furthermore, with an unique coach of Van Gaals expertise and style of coaching, I think he could become a goal scoring machine for Man Utd
Manutd don’t need a striker right now and if at all they do, why Benzema who’s not for me better than Van persie, Rooney and Chicharito.

Man United don’t need a striker unless there is movement about to happen with Rooney as Van Persie is set to stay and become captain now that Van Gaal is the next United manager!
Should Rooney leave and i’m not entirely against the idea then i’d prefer Cavani over Benzema, the French striker had his chance to sign for United but turned SAF down a few times so i’m afraid he’d b the one gettin the cold shoulder this time round!
i’m also hoping that Reus signs for United this season but i’ve a very funny feeling that he wants to run down the last year of his contract with Dortmund and then sign for United on a free transfer next summer, a similar situation to how Lewandoski got his move to Bayern this summer and i’d b happy to save the €35m on getting him now an using it to make a €20m bid for Barcelona’s Pedro now instead.
The problem is Arsenal’s wenger, the player is already fore seeing arsene wenger not spending big to bring in world class players when they can’t even pay £1OO,OOO a week to sagna, means they would do better to benzema.

benzema is a world class striker, lets let go of welbeck n chicharito to other clubs….. cant even start to imagine benzema vanpersie combination upfront….
