Elimination from Champions league against Bayern Munich completes David Moyes and Manchester United’s misery this season.
Now it is time that the manager starts looking at the targets he wants to sign in the summer transfer market.
Fans will be furious if Moyes fails to lure top targets by wasting time despite having a hefty transfer kitty at disposal.
The English giants are linked with moves for several stars and one of the not so renowned ones is Montpellie’s playmaker Remy Cabella.
The French star has been brilliant in Ligue 1 this season as he has scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 31 appearances.
Cabella was linked with a move to Manchester United even last winter as well and last year Montpellier coach even admitted that a $25m offer from United will be hard to refuse and Cabella must go.
Now according to the latest reports, Montpellier chariman has confirmed that the 24 year old star is set for move away from the club at the end of the campaign along-with Stambouli as he claimed:
“It is official, he (Stambouli) leaves. Cabella as well, probably.”
Remy Cabella is capable of playing as a central attacking midfielder as well as winger on either flank but will Moyes splash the cash to lure him?
If United are to offload the likes of Valencia, Nani and Young then perhaps it is likely that Moyes will reinforce the department’s depth and Cabella is more than a decent option.
