Manchester United supporters have seen the worst of midfield and defensive performances from their players this season.
Central midfield has been a disaster for the Red Devils and the players who has been mostly targeted for criticism is England international Tom Cleverley.
When Ferguson gave Cleverley his debut, there were signs that the youngster will be brilliant for the Red Devils.
However, this season he has been awful, pathetic mostly much to the despair of the supporters who want him out of the club.
According to Football Direct News, that might happen as soon as next summer as David Moyes is planning to use Cleverley in a player+cash deal to sign full back Seamus Coleman.
With Gareth Barry returning to Manchester City after completing his loan spell, Everton will be needing a central midfielder and as per the provided link, Martinez is a big admirer of Cleverley and may as well welcome him.
Nevertheless, Coleman has been one of Everton’s most important player this season, arguably the best right back in the league at the moment. Brilliant at the back and productive going forward in attack as well.
The 25 year old has netted 7 goals for the Toffees this season and provided an assist as well.
Moyes is desperate to improve his defense for next season and is also targeting another full back Luke Shaw to cover the left side.
United are set to finish below Everton and for now Martinez’s men are roaring towards Champions League qualification. That may influence the decision as well.
