Manchester United have completed their first major deal way before the start of summer transfer window when it will be officially announced.
According to TalkSport, the Red Devils have agreed a fee of $58.5m to hire the services of highly rated midfielder William Carvalho for next season.
Moreover, as per the provided link, terms have also been agreed with the 22 year old star who has finalized a 5 year contract with the club.
Carvalho’s arrival will be a major boost for Manchester United and especially David Moyes for whom it is an uphill task to sign quality players without Champions League football.
United have been monitoring the Portuguese star for a very long time and scouts have watched him on many occasions. In fact, United scouts have observed him no less than a dozen times.
Now it seems that the English giants are completely convinced of Carvalho’s quality and ability and hence have finalized a deal to sign him.
Capable of playing as a defensinve midfielder and also further forward in the central midfield, the Sporting star can become a major asset for the Red Devils.
Nevertheless, surely signing Carvalho will not be the only piece of business Moyes will do this term. Fans can expect more quality arrvials but for now, the best thing Moyes is doing is trying to secure deals before the end of the season to avoid competition with other CL giants.

It’s better not spend 150mil this summer if Moyes is still in Charge.
This season Utd has already spend around est. 65mil, what have utd achieve – 7th position.
If the Glazers are smart enough to spend such a money, then sack Moyes this weekend
and hire LVG or Jürgen Klopp. Then the money is well spend. The ball is at your court now GLAZERS…
Make a wise decision, you dont have to spend another season to justify Moyes. He is totally out of his world. haha
Red you seam don’t know wat you r talking about. You really want Moyes to go at this stage of the season? You r mad!I think u r not the fan of man u.please, stop that!Man u is going to shine again, believe me!
Do all man uted supporters have short memories? What happened when Fergie first became manager! I think he retired because he new the team was getting older, it is kind of the sinking ship situation. Give Moyes time look art Everton now, it was a team he left behind. Time will tell fans be patient.
Yawn, different era… Obviously you know fuck all about club history. @ken, no but you seen to…Fergie to over drunks and the team was floundering., sitting at arse end of table.. Moyes however to over a club that just won league., and the systematically has ripped the club up.. How many records has the prat broke so far? Give moyes. Time? For what.. You say look what he did at Everton, he did nothing but hold them back, funny how lots of Everton players are saying they are loving playing with Martinez, he’s let them play creative fotball. I don’t understand how you except this drivel… So you think he’s gonna come good. Is that after he’s spanked supposedly 200£ mill on players. I take it you also think that we need a new squad? So come next season after hes wasted all that money, pushed legends out the club and finishes 5th will you be happy? Hopefully they sack him before he wastes money on shite transfers I suppose you’ll be throwing the “fergie said stand by your manager” fergie also said he was leaving a club in good health, and a squad that had strengh and depth.. But I guess you forgot that bit.
as much as i want moyes gone, it is not good for the team to lose another at this stage. also this players he bought are talented starting from fellani which can be great asset in the near future mata is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league and if kroos and carvalho, they are creative players. so let him modify the team the way he want and let us see, but i doubt he is the man to lead man utd to glory
Manu Manu! Moyes is not the Man, at best after spending a lot of pounds he may guarantee only the FA Cup like Arsene Wenger.
Let Him buy and stay another year so that manu can see another Wenger of Tropies!
I like how Glazer and Fergie fought and the latter is laughing silently at a Money miss Road G!
So many plastic fans ! We have one bad season with an ageing squad and it’s get Moyes out !!! When Fergie came down from Aberdeen he needed time to get his ideas across to his players! He quickly realised he needed to get rid of the dead wood !! So he was ruthless in getting rid of Utd Legends “Norman Whiteside & Paul McGrath” The fans didn’t agree but he stuck to his guns and slowly trophies came along! The F.A. Cup, The Cup Winners Cup and then The Premiership !! This season we have had NO real prescence in midfield (a Robbo, Keane, Ince, Scholes) Moyes is looking to resolve that (Carvalho, Kroos, Reus). Stop thinking we have the right to win everything every season ! Real United supporters support their team no matter what !!! We will sign wordclass players and will be back challenging !!!
So laughable what u say @walshy, how u articulate yo points, trying to tell the world that im mr iron fan coz i sack mr clueless’ ass nomatter what shit is in there, hats off to u mr ass sucker, for supporting n standing by a totally lost man, a farmer in my book, masquerading as a football manager. Hahaha, hats off to u mr, 4 shamelessly labelling everyone who thinks the twat u call moyes is not into football, but rugby maybe if ever he is into sport managing, clueless, helpless, useless, yo buddy is pathetic, i bet my bottom dollar people like u are typical loserfools scausers or shitty supporters who would do nthing to make sure man utd goes down. U support moyes we support utd. I know yo kind never understand but i will try once more. We support united go the fuck on n support yo useless scot. Plastic fan my foot. Fool!!!!!
welcome development
Needs time to scale up. The team only needs 6 players. Luke shaw. Mangala/garsy. Koke/ kroos or remy cabella. Cavarho. Kagawa to get more time and mata plus nani then chase away young. Evra . Rio. Vidic .cleverly. . Give slso young players like januzaji . Wilson. Ekangamene lingard and powel time. Simple. Coch found noghing to use
well said @gwans,@ dave…it saddens me wen some of our so called manutd fans criticize some of dere fellow fans calling dem plastic fans or glory hunter…wen fergie was leaving he said stand behind ur new manager and i feel dat particular statement has to earned and not followed blindly, wen fergie was leaving he said he has left the team in the best possible shape thou i disagree with our midfield area, for dos of u our dere calling us plastic fans the sentence “stand behind ur manager” from fergie meant we shud not expect a trophy from moyes first season but we shud still be in the top 4,wich i feel we can’t achieve dis season..if u look @ fergusons track record he was a success while moyes is the reverse….ferguson took drunk manutd playas from 21st position in his 1st season and ended up in 11th position such a person deserves time from d club unlike moyes from champions to seventh…so for all dos calling for moyes to be given time i am so sorry dis man can make spain loose against tahiti…
I read the above comments and want to throw up ….,,,,,, Are these really fans talking? people who can’t spell or string a coherent sentence together? If they are God help us! when are these poorly educated, not very bright people going to wake up to the fact that Man U is not their “club”. Soccer has become a big business spectacle. It’ s all about making money. If was a “club” we’d all have been invited into the directors’ box for a glass of wine with Fergie! It hasn’t been a club since it was called Newton Heath.
The money men run Man U,and, the money men will make the decisions and won’t be pressured into sacking the new manager by a yobo who has to put a “e” on the end of the word shit, Shite? give us all a break and stop posting. United will rise again and Moyes and the money men will make it happen! If you don’t like it go to watch City play. Just stop basardising the richest language in the world. Please.
In my opinion, Moyes is our man.I see a great coach in him.he learnt from dread hence he wont repeat the same. Sacking him simply shows us hw shallow our minds can be because we all need chances,i mean second chances in life. I aint denying the norm that his job result oriented but im sure given his right choice of players,Moyes will surely take us to promised land (GLory). Besides, no one is perfect, even all great coaches you’d ever known have been victims of criticm. What matters now is how he takes it now and correct his wrongs, as simple as that……Moyes all the way.
