Arsenal have been monitoring Real Sociedad’s Antoine Griezmann for quite some time but will now face stiff competition from Manchester United.
Lately, Arsene Wenger claimed that the gunners want the French star but he only one of his admirers.
Red Devils’s scout thinks that Antoine can be a superstar at the World Cup and surely he has got all the traits to be a great success. He claimed:
“Griezmann would bring something,”
“His versatility and technique, in a tournament where space is limited, are real assets. You can’t score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities.”
In terms of goals scored in La Liga this season, the 22 year old boy is only behind the likes of world class players like Ronaldo and Diego Costa. Says a lot.
As reported earlier, Griezmann could be worth as much as €24m and he has all the qualities to be handed Man United’s legendary No. 7 shirt.
Moyes also watched him play his debut for the National side in midweek and it perhaps confirms that Man United are seriously interested in luring him.
However, the main obstacle for David Moyes is that if his side does not qualify for the Champions League, which looks highly likely at this stage, then Arsenal should be considered favorites to lure him.
Moreover, Arsene Wenger is renowned for signing French stars and that French connection may as well also favor Arsenal.
