Manchester United will face West Brom in the premier league today and fans will be hoping to bounce back against the Baggies.
West Brom defeated the Red Devils in their own backyard earlier this season when Steve Clarke was in charge.
However, both teams have struggled since then as Albions fight relegation battle while United face a near impossible task to finish in top 4.
In such a scenario, Manchester United have suffered another major blow as their star defender Evans will be out for three more weeks because of a calf problem.
United fans were hoping to welcome Evans back for the game against West Brom but sadly that is not going to happen.
Evans has arguably been United’s best central defender this season as the likes of Ferdinand and captain Vidic have been disappointing.
With him absent, it means that United will likely have to make do with the veteran defenders who weer absolute trash against Olympiacos.
Red Devils need a miracle to play Champions league football next season as the chances of qualification through premier league are low and that of winning the Champions League are negligible.
Evans has been important this season but having said that, he has been the better one, not world class by any means and David Moyes needs to find quality center back partnership for next season.
