Chelsea are flying high in the premier league under the management of Jose Mourinho and with him in charge, fans believe that better days are ahead.
The Portuguese manager has got a brilliant squad at his disposal but lacks a world class goal scorer upfront.
Highly likely that a top quality striker will be Chelsea’s main priority in the next summer transfer window.
Top Ligue 1 strikers such as the likes of Cavani, Ibrahimovic and Falcao have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge but Chelsea manager has hinted interest in only one of the mentioned i.e. Radamel Falcao.
Mourinho claimed:
“I have a team, but no striker. Falcao does not have a team. A player like him can’t play in front of 3,000 people. Monaco is a club to end”
The Colombian international moved to French side Monaco last summer for a hefty sum of €61m and surely if Chelsea want to lure him then they have to pay a huge amount as well.
The former Atletico and Porto forward is currently on the injury table fighting to recover in time and feature in the World Cup.
Falcao’s class is inevitable and he is easily one of the best out and out strikers in the world for the past few years.
Blues have been facing striker dilemma since 2010 and it is about time to solve it once and for all. Falcao is exactly the kind of player who will fill the void at Chelsea.
