Hull City could not complete a double over Liverpool as the merseysiders were in for revenge and defeated the Tigers 2-0 on new year’s day.
Once again, at Anfield, it seems virtually impossible to stop Luis Suarez from scoring.
Although, Hull did try to knock him down quite a few times and closed him down quickly, still Suarez had the last laugh as he scored a sublime free kick.
Hull City’s manager Steve Bruce was full of praise for the Uruguayan and claimed that the Liverpool star is the best in the world at the moment.
In his post match interview Bruce claimed:
“The second one (goal) was a wonder goal by arguably the best player in the planet at the moment”

The prolific forward has now netted 20 premier league goals this season, the fastest to reach the milestone as he did it in just 15 appearances.
In such kind of form, Suarez is literally unstoppable. That Free kick was inch perfect and there was no way any keeper in the world could have saved that.
Liverpool have Steven Gerrard back in the side and sooner rather than later they will have Sturridge and the combination of SAS back as well.
Next up in PL, Reds face Stoke at the Brittania Stadium. Liverpool defeated Stoke on the opening day of the season and will look to maintain momentum and fight for the title.
