The Deadline Day is here and clubs are looking to seal deal for quality players before the window closes.
Manchester United have already secured the signing of Juan Mata from Chelsea after paying a record breaking amount of 43 million Euros.
However, even after luring Juan Mata, the problems of United’s midfield and defense are not going to be solved and surely they need more signings.
Lately, Manchester United manager David Moyes has been in Germany and reports have suggested that the former Evertonian is mainly interested in luring Toni Kroos.
The German international for now is unsettled. Kroos is again a midfielder whose main influence is in the attacking third where United already have enough fire power and they actually need more of a versatile defensive one.
For that role, according to reports, Manchester United are eyeing another record breaking deal worth €48m to sign the solid Javi Martinez.
Daily Mail also suggested earlier that Moyes could be watching him but Martinez did not play.
The Spanish international signed for Bayern for club record fee last summer and was one of the most important players in the treble winning last season.
However, since the arrival of Guardiola, Martinez has one, been sidelined, two, been injured. His defensive midfield role for now is being played by none other than club captain Lahm and that makes things complex for Martinez who surely wants to be part of the World Cup squad for the national side.
Whether or not Moyes will lure another Spaniard and break the transfer record again in the same window, highly unlikely but only time will tell.

This would be a great addition to the team, in fact had mentioned this back when he was with Bilbao. Anyway if this deal is to go through then gill and fergie should be involved…..otherwise you can forget it.
Martinez may be a good singing for Manchester united
hes one of the best DMs in the world, i always thought united should target him because he was not playing regularly (surprisingly) under guardiola. espesially now because carrick is injured and he’ll not only give cover to our leaking defence but will help retain possesion and help in passing, hes btw only 24 or 25. mata and de gea could play a big part in luring the spainaird
This will be the best signing for united if David can add him to his squared, even though Michel carick feet back to play it will re-leave him by playing every match, I think it will be very good to seal the deal.
Carrick is an average midfielder – not world class at all. He don’t tackle well and distribute the ball sedeways most of the time. Need a more adventurous player who is truly defensive midfielder. Furthermore he is due to be in the retirement years soon.
Totally Agree, the only reason Carrick gets tagged world class is because he is English and the tabloids like to overhype players.
this will be the best signing since moyes took over from ferguson. he will provide sure cover to the back four and he has a good passing range.
BRING IN MARTINEZ!!!
ROBERTO MARTINEZ I MEAN!!!
It will b a gr8t signing we ar waiting 4, he is 1 of d bst dmf in d world but i dn’t thk d club would allow him leave now or even in d summer, But i wish moyes gudlock.
