Can In-Form Spurs Stop High Flying Manchester City?

EPLTottenham Hotspur have been in fantastic form since the sacking of manager Andre Villas Boas after Liverpool defeat.
The North Londoners have since won 5 of their last 6 league games under Tim Sherwood earning 16 points out of possible 18.
Prolific form has led them to join Liverpool in fourth place but their toughest test is ahead when they face free scoring Manchester City at White Hart Lane.
Citizens have already scored more than 100 goals this season and are frightening to say the least.
Moreover, the 2012 champions thrashed Tottenham 6-0 when the Londoners visited the fortress Etihad stadium last year.
Surely, the Tottenham supporters will be hoping a performance like that is not repeated but the real question:
Can in-form Spurs stop high flying Manchester City in midweek?
Adebayor has returned rejuvenated under Sherwood and has found his scoring touch back as well. Moreover, their defense have largely improved.
City are unstoppable at the moment as the sky blues have won 9 of their last 10 league games scoring no less than 35 goals in the process. Their star striker, Aguero is back from injury with a bang scoring for fun as if he was never away and will be raring to go against Spurs.
Pellegrini’s men were shaky in the away fixtures during the early stages of the season, but not any more.
Prediction: Tottenham 1-3 Manchester City
